Dana has taught violin lessons for nearly 10 years. She has worked with beginner to advanced students from ages 3-67, and has experience teaching both in-person and online. She is able to tailor lessons to each student’s preference, learning style, and family needs.
A violin student from the age of 3, Dana was taught the Suzuki Method growing up, and teaches her students the Suzuki and Royal Conservatory of Music curriculums. In addition to instrumental technique, Dana believes in a well-rounded education, and teaches music history, theory, and composition to all of her students.
Dana is trained by the Suzuki Association of the Americas through Suzuki Book 4, and was taught by Alice Ann O’Neill, Amanda Schubert, and Jenna Potts. She also received pedagogical instruction from Ann Elliott-Goldschmid and Dr. Sarah Pizzichemi.
